Kirsten Duncan

My best days are spent experimenting with colour, fondling fabric and stitching either by hand or machine. Sewing has been a constant in my life since I was three years old so now I have more than 50 years experience upon which to draw when I teach. It is a privilege to be alongside another quilter as they explore new ways of expressing their own sense of beauty. Few things give me more satisfaction. My quilts have been exhibited, collected and published internationally. Even after all these years, there is a freshness that inspires me every time I start a new project.
