For as long as I can remember I have always enjoyed craft and needlework. I first started patchwork over forty years ago when supplies were severely limited in New Zealand. I have strayed from time to time to try different crafts but my love of quilting always wins out, my favourite techniques are foundation piecing, applique and English paper piecing. I fell in love with the Quiltworx ‘Glacier Star’ pattern but unfortunately this was not available in New Zealand as there were no Certified Shops or instructors, so I did some enquiries and learnt that there was going to be a ‘Vintage Rose’ workshop in Noosa, Australia and so began my journey to become a Certified Quiltworx Instructor. It is very rewarding and exciting for me to be bringing this opportunity to New Zealand and see students complete and enjoy making their projects. I love the teaching aspect of being a Certified Instructor and passing on my knowledge to others. The Quiltworx patterns and the techniques ensure absolute precision every time.
